YWCA Butler manages Under Our Wing, a 24-unit building of affordable housing for limited income individuals aged 62 and older.

Conveniently located at 124 W Cunningham St in Butler, residents enjoy shops, restaurants and public transportation just a block away.

Our goal is to provide safe, secure housing that empowers seniors to maintain health and independent lives.

Residents at Under Our Wing enjoy amenities like:

  • Fully furnished apartments

  • Utilities included with rent

  • Free laundry

  • Resident controlled heat and A/C

  • Comfortable common areas

  • And more

Under Our Wing is for limited income individuals and rent is based on income. You do not need a Housing Choice Voucher to apply or reside in Under Our Wing. There are no fees to apply. Contact us today for more information!

Ways to Volunteer

  • Bingo Host

    Our Residents love Bingo, and we're looking for an individual or group that could come to our facility and host a game. We provide all of the supplies necessary, and can be flexible with the date and time.

  • Game or Craft Host

    We're looking for a volunteer(s) to host a craft or game session with our residents. We can provide the supplies/games and the instructions. We will work around your schedule!
